Q: Can KmS Mineral Foundation really give me complete coverage?
A:  Absolutely!  KmS Mineral Essentials mineral makeup Foundation covers a wide range of skin imperfections, including sun spots, Rosacea, skin discolorations and Acne.  The coverage is buildable, meaning you can continue to apply as much or as little as you like to achieve the coverage you desire.

Q: What can I do to make sure I am getting the most out of my mineral makeup?
A:  A couple of things.  First you will want to make sure your skin is moisturized before applying your foundation.  Mineral powder is applied dry, and your skin may feel drier if your skin is not moisturized prior to use.  Secondly, a good application brush is essential to acheive the ultimate cosmetic finish.  Choose our Kabuki brush for light coverage, our Application or Buki On A Stick for medium coverage, and a flat brush for maximum coverage.

Q: What is the difference between eye shadow and eye color pigments?
A:  Eye color pigments are very concentrated as compared to regular powder eye shadows so they produce a very intense color.  The formulation also adheres to the eyelids better than conventional eye shadows which normally contain ingredients like talc and cornstarch.

Q:  Can mineral foundation really conceal fine lines and wrinkles?
A:  Yes.  Because traditional makeup is made of talc, cornstarch and other fillers, it tends to settle into the lines on your skin. KmS Mineral Foundation has a creamy texture that blends onto your skin flawlessly and will not settle into lines or wrinkles.  In fact, KmS Foundation's luminosity actually deflects light away from your skin, giving you an overall softer appearance.

Q:  Does KmS offer sun protection?
A:  Yes.  Our mineral foundation contains natural UVA/UVB sun protection equal to an SPF of 15.

Q:  How do I apply KmS Mineral Essentials Foundation?
A:  Simply sprinkle a small amount into the lid of your jar, palette or small plate.  Swirl your application brush into the minerals until it is tucked inside the brush. Tap off the excess on the side of the jar, preferably over your bathroom sink, or vanity.  Buff the minerals onto your skin in an upward, circular motion, re-applying until you acheive the coverage you desire. Q:  What is the shelf life on KmS Mineral Essentials Cosmetics?
A:  Our cosmetics do not harbor bacteria like most brands because of our raw natural ingredients.  Because our products do not contain preservatives, the shelf life is infinite.

Q:  I have used Bare Minerals in the past.  How does KmS compare?
A:  We are former customers of the Bare Minerals product line.  Our products compare to the quality of Bare Minerals.  The major difference is that our cosmetics do not contain Bismuth Oxychloride found in Bare Minerals/Bare Escentuals.  Bismuth Oxychloride is a natural form of arsenic lead and is a know skin irritant.  In most cases, it can cause breakouts and/or skin irritation for many women, even those that do not normally have sensitive skin.  You will find that our loose mineral powder has more of a silky consistency when compared to Bare Minerals which results in a less "powdered" look. Additionally, when compared ounce per ounce, KmS MIneral Essentials is more cost effective.

Q:  I have very oily skin.  Will KmS be able to stay put throughout the day?
A:  Absolutely!  KmS Mineral Essentials contains Kaolin Clay, an excellent oil absorber.  Your makeup will stay on until you take it off.  For ultimate oil control, we suggest applying our mineral veil underneath your foundation as well as on top. Because it contains more Kaolin Clay than our foundation, this will help to prevent oily breakthrough.

Q:  Does KmS Mineral Essentials have a guarantee?
A:  KmS is committed to the satisfaction of our customers.  If our customers purchase a loose foundation shade and find out after purchase that the shade is not right for them, we will gladly exchange it for another shade option until our customer finds their true shade match.   If our customers cannot find the right shade match, or if they experience sensitivity to our products, we will cheerfully refund the purchase price upon the return of the product(s) in question. Sample purchases are encouraged as it is the best way to test a shade and compatibility with the skin.
